Stream Status Callbacks

Last update:2026-10-19 14:43:09

Stream Status Callbacks sends an HTTP request to your service when ingest starts or ends. Use these notifications to update stream status in your application or trigger monitoring and other workflows.

Before you begin

  • You have permission to configure the target ingest domain in the CDNetworks console.
  • Your service has reachable endpoints for ingest start and end notifications. Both URLs must use the same protocol and domain.
  • You know which HTTP method and parameters your service expects.

Configure stream status callbacks

  1. Go to Media Delivery > Media Acceleration Live Broadcast > Configuration.

  2. In the domain list, find the ingest domain, then choose Edit Configuration.

  3. In the configuration editor, choose Live Streaming Features > Stream Status Callbacks, then choose Add.

If a Stream Status Callbacks configuration already exists, edit the existing row.

  4. For Stream Status Callbacks, select On.

  5. Configure the callback settings.

Important: Both callback URLs must use the same protocol and domain. For example, use https://example.com/live/start and https://example.com/live/end.
