Last update:2026-10-19 14:43:10

Client IP Forwarding specifies the HTTP request header used to pass client IP information to your origin. Choose the option your origin application or logging system expects.

Configure client IP forwarding

  1. Go to Media Acceleration Live Broadcast > Configuration, find the domain, then choose Edit Configuration.
  2. In Advanced Settings, open Client IP Forwarding.
  3. Select the target domain in the domain table, then choose Batch Edit.
  4. In the Batch Edit dialog box, select the required Client IP Forwarding option.
Option Behavior When to use
Cdn-Src-Ip Passes the client IP address in the Cdn-Src-Ip request header. This is the default option. Your origin reads Cdn-Src-Ip.
X-Forwarded-For Passes the client IP address obtained by CDNetworks in the X-Forwarded-For request header. Your origin or logging system reads X-Forwarded-For.
Preserve Original X-Forwarded-For Passes the incoming X-Forwarded-For header and its original value to the origin, if present. Your application needs to retain the incoming X-Forwarded-For value.
  1. Choose Confirm.
  2. Choose Save Draft to save the configuration as a draft, or Next to continue the configuration workflow.
