Permission policies include system policies and custom policies. System policies are view-only and cannot be modified, while custom policies can be easily tailored to meet your custom requirements.

Prerequisites for Creating Custom Policies

When creating a custom policy, if you need to understand the basic structure and syntax of the permission policy language, please refer to Syntax Structure.

Create Custom Permission Policy

For the steps to create a custom permission policy, please refer to: Create Custom Policy

Modify Custom Permission Policy

Follow these steps to modify a custom permission policy:

  1. Log in to IAM Access Control.
  2. Click Permission Management > Policy Management.
  3. Locate the permission policy you wish to manage by its policy name, click its name, and then click Edit Policy Content.

Delete Custom Permission Policy

To delete a custom permission policy, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to IAM Access Control.
  2. Click Permission Management > Permission Policy Management.
  3. Locate the permission policy you wish to manage by its policy name, and click Delete.
  4. In the pop-up dialog box for deleting a custom policy, click OK.
Note: If this policy is currently being referenced, it cannot be deleted directly.
