Instance Reinstall

Operation Scenario

After the instance is successfully created, you can reinstall the system for the instance through the console. Currently, it is not supported to reinstall Linux system as Windows system, or reinstall Windows system as Linux system. After the system is reinstalled, the data in the system disk will be cleared, please backup important information in the system disk before reinstalling; the data disk can be selected to be retained or not.

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the Edge Cloud Host console, and click [Instance Management] on the left navigation bar.

2. Select the instance to reinstall the system, and click the operation option on the right side [More] –> [Reinstall System].

3. In the pop-up dialog box, select the [image] to be installed, [reset password], and you can select [whether to keep the data disk].
