Batch Modify origin allows for the bulk modification of both basic and advanced origin configurations.
Batch Modify Origin
Supports modifying either basic or advanced origin configurations, as well as modifying both simultaneously.
If both “Batch modify origin” and “Batch modify advanced origin” are selected, the configurations for both basic and advanced origins will be modified.
Common Back-to-Origin Type
Batch modify Back-to-Origin IP/Domain or WCS Back-to-Origin Domain, details can be found in Set origins.
Batch Modify Alternate Back-to-Origin
Batch modify Back-to-Origin Request HOST and Back-to-Origin Request Port, details can be found in Set origins.
Advanced Origin
To batch disable advanced origins, turn off the advanced origin switch.
To configure advanced origins in bulk, click Add to configure advanced origins, details can be found in Set origins.
Since batch modifying origin is a high-risk configuration, please ensure the availability of the origin server before deployment. Configure the detection URL in back-to-origin detection and click Detection to verify the availability of the origin server.
After you have completed setting the configurations, please click OK and then select Next to submit your settings. To minimize any potential disruptions to your production environment, we strongly recommend conducting a Pre-deploy test in a staging environment. This crucial step ensures that your configurations are accurate before they go live. Once you have verified the accuracy of the settings, click Deploy Now to implement them in the live environment. The configurations typically become effective within 3-5 minutes. For comprehensive guidance on pre-deployment testing and to verify the effectiveness of your configurations, please consult the tutorial Deploy the Configurations to Staging Environment for Validation.
There are two modes for advanced origins (Intelligent Back-to-Origin Detection and Weighted Back-to-Origin). If the advanced origin modes of the selected multiple domains are inconsistent during the batch modifying, batch configuration is not possible. Please configure for individual domains or contact CDNetworks technical support.
