CDNetworks ESA supports multi-factor authentication to verify user credential. After verifying the username/password, we also support further verification of user identity through TOTP authentication, SMS, IP address verification, geographic location verification, etc. to ensure user legitimacy. This article introduces how to use the TOTP authenticator for authentication and what to do when the user’s authentication device changes.
1)Your IT administrator has enabled TOTP authentication on your account
2)Download and install TOTP authenticator. ESA supports Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.
Step1 : launch CDNetworks ESA client, enter Enterprise ID, username and password, click on Log in.
Step2 : Use the Authenticator installed on your device to scan the QR code in the login interface, or manually enter the username and TOTP key
Step3 : Enter the verification code in Authenticator on the login interface, and click Continue.
Step4 : The TOTP device is added successfully, please log in again
When your TOTP authentication device is changed or lost, please refer to the following steps to rebind the TOTP authentication device.
Step1 : Enter the account information, click Log in to enter the TOTP authentication interface, and click the Reset TOTP Key button.
Step2 : Enter the mobile number or Email address which was bound to your account to get a re-bound verification code
Step3 : After entering the correct verification code, you will enter the TOTP device binding interface
