Create a Domain Alias

In the Configuration menu, you can see the domain lists as you manage. you can also see the status of the alias at each domain. when you created a new domain (e.g. www-test.cdnetworks-test.com), you can see the alias icon that is gray-colored. it means the domain has no domain alias. when you see black colored alias icon, it means that the domain (e.g. www-test.test-cdnetworks.com) has domain alias(es).

You can also add domain aliases, which are affiliated domains associated to a certain domain, you click Create New Domain.

You should follow the steps below to create new domain aliases:

Step #1) Select a Contract Item

By selecting different contract item, the system can get domains, products and sets information of it, which means the domains in Existing Domain drop-down list will change according to different contract item.

Step #2) Choose a Domain Type
You should choose “Alias of Existing Domain” for creating domain aliases.

Step #3) Choose an existing domain
The existing domain chosen will be associated to the aliases. Once an existing domain is chosen, a string will show up to display the origin IP/domain of it.

Step #4) Enter domain aliases
The system allows you to add multiple domain aliases in one submission, but with a maximum limitation of 300. For multiple input, you should use linefeed to separate different aliases, which mean only one alias in one line. The origin IP/Domain of aliases will be the same with the ones of the domain they associated to, so please note that domain aliases added must not be the same with the origin IP/domain shown above the input field.

Step #5) Submit
If the associated domain is accelerated inside of mainland China, ICP filing is required. Otherwise, the system will report errors when submitting, and you will fail adding new domains under this circumstance.

when you turn back to domain list,you can see the alias icons that are changed from “gray-color” to “black-color” , it means the domains has domain-alias(es).Click the alias icon, you can see the domain alias(es).
