Use access logs to review requests served by CDNetworks, investigate delivery issues, analyze traffic, or support operational reporting.

Configure Log Service

  1. In Advanced Configuration, open Log Service.
  2. Select Modify.
  3. Review the displayed log settings.
  4. Set Log Merge Granularity.

Log Fields

Console Field Description
Download Logs Shows whether CDN access log download is enabled for the domain.
Sampling Rate Shows whether logs are sampled.
Log Retention Days Shows how long generated logs are retained.
Log Generation Time Zone Shows the time zone used when generating log files.
Log Merge Granularity Required when editing Log Service. Defines the time range covered by each merged log file.

Log Merge Granularity Options

The console provides these merge granularity options:

Option Meaning
1.5 hours Generate merged log files in 1.5-hour intervals.
2 hours Generate merged log files in 2-hour intervals.
3 hours Generate merged log files in 3-hour intervals.
4 hours Generate merged log files in 4-hour intervals.
6 hours Generate merged log files in 6-hour intervals.
8 hours Generate merged log files in 8-hour intervals.
12 hours Generate merged log files in 12-hour intervals.
24 hours Generate merged log files in 24-hour intervals.

Shorter intervals produce smaller log windows. Longer intervals reduce the number of generated log files.
