Clone a Property

CDN Pro allows you to clone an existing property to create a new one. This lets you quickly create a new property, without filling out all fields from scratch. This article describes how to clone a property.

1. Entry

In the CDN Pro console, click the left-side menu Edge Configuration > Properties to open the property list page.

2. Click to Clone Property

Find the property you want to clone and click the clone icon in the Actions column.

3. Edit the New Property

After you click Clone, the system opens the Create Property page with fields prefilled from the source property. Make the necessary edits:

• Basic information: Required. Enter the new property’s Property Name, Service Type, and Hostnames.
• Version: Optional. By default, cloning copies only the latest configuration version of the source property. You may also choose a different version to clone.
• Other settings: Optional. Edit any other configuration items as needed.

4. Submit the New Property

After editing, click the Clone button at the bottom of the page to quickly create the new property.

Tip: By cloning, a new property is created and its configuration is only saved in the backend. To push the configuration to CDN Pro edge nodes, you must deploy the property.
