IP Groups

Prerequisites: The Flood Shield 2.0 service has been activated and CDNetworks technical support has completed resource deployment; a CDNetworks account has been created.

Resource groups provide resource isolation: domains under an account are divided into resource groups, and when a domain in one resource group is attacked, domains in other resource groups are unaffected.

• Resource isolation: The impact of an attack is confined to the resource group that the attacked domain belongs to and does not affect other services.
• Single membership: A domain can belong to only one resource group.
• Centralized adjustment: View the domains in each resource group on one page, and move domains to other resource groups.

View Resource Groups

1. Log in to the CDNetworks console, find the Flood Shield 2.0 service you are using under Subscribed Products, and click to enter it.
2. Go to Asset Management > EIP Groups. The page shows all resource groups authorized under the account.
3. Select filter conditions as needed and search to locate the target resource group:

Resource groups are created by CDNetworks technical support during resource deployment and authorized to your account, and the page provides no creation entry point. To add a resource group, contact CDNetworks technical support.

View Domains in a Group

1. In the Operation column of the target resource group, click View to open the Associated Domain page.
2. To locate a specific domain, enter a keyword in the Domain search box and search.

Move Domains to Another Resource Group

1. In the Operation column of the target resource group, click Modify to open the Associated Domain page.
2. Select the domains to move and click Change Resource Group.
3. Confirm the selected domains and choose the destination resource group.
4. Click Publish to production and wait for the configuration to be deployed to edge nodes.

Note: A domain can belong to only one resource group. After a domain is moved to a new resource group, it is no longer protected by the original resource group’s isolation capability.
