Cloud DNS validates your DNS data by running a suite of automated tests. In addition, it empowers you to run the tests by yourself so that you will be well aware of the test result before the data is published to our production servers.
In order to do that, you need to push your DNS data to our staging zone. A staging zone is a sub-zone of staging-test.net which is provided by CDNetworks. Your configuration has been published to our formal DNS server with <zone name>.staging-test.net. It provides a way to test your configurations publicly.
To test the configurations, you can try this command: dig <domain name>.staging-test.net @8.8.8.8 ANY. Also, you can use any third-party DNS check tool to test your configuration.
You can push your DNS data to our staging zone by clicking “Push to Staging” button.
Click on the “Push to production” button, and you can send the DNS configuration data to Production servers.
Click on the “Check Configuration” button, and you can check your DNS data and modify the data.
Click on the “Push to production” button and your DNS configuration data will be pushed to all of our production serves.
Once the configuration is successfully pushed to production servers, you will see the following screen.
And if you don’t want to wait, just refresh the page manually.
Click on the “Existing Zones” button, and you will be directed to the zone list page.
Click on the “Check Configuration”, and you can check your DNS data and modify it if desired.
